Scissor Sharpening

We sharpen all types of scissors and shears with one of the industry's best sharpening equipment. Factory trained and we take full pride in providing customer satisfaction. We also offer Diamond disc sharpening for the higher end scissors.

What is Diamond Sharpening?

High quality convex scissors, typically $150 or more, are recommended to be sharpened on a diamond disc. This finer abrasive protects the blades by using less heat, while providing a sharper and finer edge, and maintains the convex. To understand, convex blades are rounded into the cutting edge without an obvious bevel. The convex adds strength to the blade and cutting edge.

Clipper Blade Sharpening

Clipper Blades are inspected to make sure they're not worn out to be sharpened. If worn out, no sharpening will commence and the blade will be returned to the customer at no charge. Once the blade passes inspection, they're disassembled, sharpened, cleaned & disinfected, lubricated with oil, tighten the spring and sockets, assembled with the blade aligned properly against the comb blade, tension tested for proper pressure, and then tested on a running clipper for cutting perfection. Finally, the blade is polished and inserted into a plastic pouch. Customer satisfaction is guaranteed.

Knife Sharpening

We use the finest Swedish wet stone for sharpening and correcting the bevel on knives. This prevents the blade from overheating; thus, protecting the temper of the blade. Then the knife is sharpened a second time on a finer grit, and then honed for razor sharpness. Each knife is tested for cutting perfection.
